Using a pendulum with Insight Stones™

The standard use of a pendulum (a wood, stone, or metal bob at the end of a string or metal chain) is to hold the end of the string, ask a yes or no question, and allow the pendulum to swing in either a yes or no direction in response to the question.  This approach is limiting in the types of questions you can ask.  Additionally, many times the pendulum reacts to your personal desires or fears and responds accordingly.

Using the pendulum with your Insight Stones™ board expands the answers available to you and adds objectivity to the response.

Hold your favorite pendulum over the center section of the star where it says Insight Stones.  Make sure the pendulum is still while asking your question.  Frame it as an open-ended question such as “Give me a message about…” or “Tell me about…” or “What will be the result if I…”

The pendulum will begin to swing back and forth; take note of which parts of the board the pendulum is moving between.  For example, it may be swinging along the continuum between Saturn and Venus, which means that your answer lies in their combined interpretations.  The pendulum may swing in a more definite arc toward a particular section of the board (tree, color, planet, or season).  If this occurs, interpret only that aspect.  Interpret the pendulum swing in the context of your question.

Sample reading using the pendulum

Example Question:  Give me a message about tapping into my creativity.

Pendulum swing:  The pendulum swings equally between Mars and the color blue.  Mars represents strength, willpower, drive, ambition, activity, and enthusiasm.  Blue symbolizes tranquility dreams, meditation, and intuition.

This can be interpreted to mean that it would be best to open to images, messages, and impressions that come through intuitive means such a dreams and meditation.  Use these visions as inspiration and apply action to them, such as writing them down, painting or drawing them, or using them for creative problem solving.  This will foster enthusiasm for the project, open the way for extended creative applications of the vision, and therefore increase the creative ideas that come through.  This initial opening will promote a more regular stream of creativity and ideas through intuitive and cognitive sources.
